Wooden Cherry Blossom Purse

I made this purse because Girl Scouts was having a craft day and each troop had to come up with some kind craft to share.  My girls choose to decorate these wooden purses we found at Michaels.

I painted the purse pink inside and out and then glued patterned paper to the front and back.  The sticker embellishments that are on it came with the paper stack called Aunt Gerti's Garden.  The paper flowers are from SVGCuts Cherry Blossoms Mini SVG Collection.  Beautiful!

Butterfly Cards (using shaving cream technique for background)

Here are some pretty cards I made using some beautiful files from SVGCuts called Bea's 3D Cards and Butterfly Garden Frames.  These are cards I actually made for a technique swap in the SVGCuts forum.  The technique I used is called the shaving cream technique.  On a paper plate, use cheap, foam shaving cream with drops of ink swirled around and then lay the cardstock piece down into the swirls.  Wipe it off, and you get this amazing swirled effect!  I added a tag which was a freebie called Mom's Name Plate (but it is now retired).  Add a little ribbon, sticky pearls and some pretty flower brads and voila'!

Spiritual Cards

I was asked to make some Spiritual cards and these are what I came up with.  I used the Christian Elements SVG Collection and Bea's 3D Cards from SVGCuts.

These are very simple cards, but useful in many different ways. The multi-colored background on the one is made using a brayer on glossy cardstock and a multi-colored inkpad. The one with the silver cross was embossed with silver embossing powder.  On two of the cards I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the backgrounds.

Bouncing with Daddy Layout

Here is a cute layout I made.  Going to put pictures on it of Daddy and my 3 yo jumping on our trampoline!  The files came from Little Scraps of Heaven.  I made the title in SCAL on my own.

Allie page

This was a sign I made for my niece Allie, now an Angel in Heaven.  My brother had asked me to make some pretty things to hang on her hospital room door, to try and "dress up" her room since she was in there for a  long time.  I also cut a bunch of butterflies that hung around it and visitors would write a message to her on the butterfly. We miss her!

I used the shapes library and text in SCAL to design the cuts.  The flowers are punches.  I used brads, page turners, ribbon and a few stickers.  I printed out B&W pictures of her and just placed them behind the letters of her name.

Truffles Card

Need Chocolate??  Here is a card I made using some cute files from SVGCuts.  One is an adorable freebie called Valentine Truffles...get the freebie HERE!  The other file I used is from a collection called An Afternoon at Auntie Elaine's. This is such a great set with soooo many cute files in it....make sure you check it out!

I had to do a little tweaking on the cake plate since I wanted to make the lid separate and see-thru, so I just did a little snipping with scissors and putting pieces together.  The lid is made using clear transparency sheets and than I ran it through my Cuttlebug machine!  The stand is pink glitter cardstock.  I added some sliver bling to the top of the lid, inking around the edges, and a strip of ribbon on the bottom to match.  Looks good enough to eat!

Christmas Advent Calendar

This was my Advent Calender I made for last Christmas.  It was a lot of fun to make, but definitely takes some time. I would definitely recommend you making this!  My only problem is that I have 4 kids, so they had to take turns getting the surprise out each day.  They wanted to look in each one ahead of time to see what the best prizes were so they could choose that day!  UGH...kids!

The file to make this is called Classic Christmas Advent Calendar SVG Kit from SVGCuts.  Get it and get started on yours early!  The paper I used is from K&Company called Secret Santa.

ATC's (Artist Trading Cards)

Just wanted to share a few ATC's I have made.  These are small cards, 2 1/2" x 3 1/2", and usually traded in swaps, to show off your work.  They are really fun to make!

The files I used to make the beach ATC are from SVGCuts.  The Waves Element is a freebie and you can get it HERE!  The chair and frame came from Beach Bum Part II.  I altered the frame a bit, because it was so tiny to cut out.  So the flowers on top are actually from a punch.  The sun is a circle punch, just cut off on the sides and I embossed the "sand" to give it some texture.  I thought it turned out pretty and makes me want to go sit on the beach!

My Spring ATC uses files from SVGCuts as well.  The butterfly comes from Breezy Meadow Butterflies Collection and the leaves are a freebie called Floral Design Element and you can get it HERE!  The second layer is embossed and popped up using pop dots.  I punched out a flower design in the corner and added a little rhinestone to the bottom layer underneath.  The sentiment is just a stamp from my collection from Stampin' Up.  The paper with the leaves is actually fuzzy and soft!  I love it!  There are lots of different layers to this design.

Western Horse Step Card

I finally got around to making a step card!  No reason for waiting, just haven't gotten around to it. I love these and see lots more steps cards in my future! I made this for my aunt's birthday.  She lives on a ranch and loves her horses!

I actually used quite a few files for this.  It was fun to pull from lots of different collections and I also used several freebies (we are so lucky to have such awesome freebies given to us!)  Here is what I used, and they are, of course, from SVGCuts!
Cowboy Boot Freebie
Good Morning Elements freebie (I think this is retired...so hopefully you already have this)
Running Horses freebie
Scalloped Edge freebie (retired too, but easily found in other collections)
Jonathan's Bears SVG Collection (lasso)
Edisto Island Cards SVG Kit
September Scenes Stand Up Cards

Paper Lanterns

I am hesitant to share these for several different reasons...LOL...I literally made 4 of these lanterns, 2 hours before our 4th of July party, so I spent not a lot of time on them and they are not as "pretty" or detailed as I would normally make my projects.  I really wanted to take them to the BBQ we were attending, I thought they would look nice outdoors when it got dark, so at the last minute I began making them.  Well, they never made it outside....and I just took some quick pictures that evening, and they are still sitting in the box in my garage.  But, I wanted to post them anyways because I like to share what I make.  So excuse the pics...they are not good either!!

The file for the lanterns are from MyGrafico and I think they are so cute...I made mine as tall as possible, about 11" or so.  I used some pre-made elements (stickers from Michaels) that I happened to have laying around already.

I used files from SVGCuts.com called Cheryl's Cute BugsSVG Kit, Made In the USA, & Beach Bum Collection Part III.  Then I put a battery operated "candle" inside to light them up and it was kinda cool because it changed colors.

Old Movie Themed Card

Here is a Birthday Card I made using the Summer Blockbuster SVG Kit from SVGCuts.com. I didn't change anything from what the original design was, only that the colors & paper are different and it's a card...not a box!  Just wanted to share, I love the color combo!

Eiffel Tower Box

I was asked to make the Eiffel Tower box that matched the 3D letters too!  I think it came out very pretty!  I used the file from Amelie's Accessories SVG Kit from SVGCuts.com.  (Her favorite colors are teals and browns)  Lots of brown inking on the edges to make it antique looking!

3D letters "JESSICA" Travel themed

I made this for my niece who just turned 15, who loves and wants to travel someday! Her favorite colors are teals and browns and she likes anything travel related, old keys, clocks & gears.  What a cool teenager, huh!? (if only she had a shorter name...whew!)

A lot of the embellishments are pre-made and came from Michaels, but the other elements I used came from here:
I used elements from these collections from SVGCuts.com:
The Leaning Tower of Pisa (a freebie--it has since been retired, but can be found HERE)

The clock hands came from Lettering Delights.
The steampunk gears I found free on The Free SVG Blog.

I added lots of inking with brown to get a antique look, and also added different twines and strings, brads and a fabric flower.  Of course, the travel themed paper helped tie it all together!  I took lots of pictures so you could see each letter individually.  Enjoy!
