Fathers Day Card

I made this card for my Dad for Father's Day mixing several files from the My Day With Dad SVG Kit from SVGCuts.

I finally used some of my washi tape on this project, I really like that stuff! The wrench, tag, notebook paper writing, and ruler is all washi tape.  Cool stuff!

Dad's Pocket Card

Sometimes I see a card on the net and I just wanna re-create it.  THIS card was one of them, I just loved it! The pocket comes from My Scrap Chick's Man Cards and the glasses and paper come from the Silhouette On line Store: Eyeglasses & 3x4

I added some faux stitching around the edges using a white gel pen and some black small brads in each corner.  I had to do a little cutting and adjusting on the glasses to get them to fit in the pocket.

 Love how it turned out!

Birthday Cake Easel Card

My Scrap Chick has come up with some really cute easel cards.  This one I made is a birthday cake and really cute! You can purchase the file for the Cake Easel Card HERE.

I added some glitter to the flames to make them sparkle!

The card lays flat when folded down.

Paperclip Flower Cards

Here are some really simple note cards I made using files from Fleurette Bloom.  I used Paperclip Flower and Mini File Folders.
The cards are 5x7.  I used foam pop dots in between the layers of the flowers to really make them pop out. I sprayed some shimmer mist on the flowers to give them a bit of a sparkle.
Simple and cute!

Purse Shaped Cards

I wanted to make some purse cards, so I made up 2 of my own using SVGCuts awesome files.

I used 2 simple purse files from Paula's Boutique SVG Collection and turned the purse shapes into cards.  After adding all the embossing, embellishments and layering, I think they turned out really cute!

The cards fit into a 5x7 envelope, so they are nice, large cards.

Purse #1

Embossing is done with the Tiny Bubbles embossing folder.

I just added a simple sentiment...I didn't want to take too much away from the purse.

The round, antiqued brass circles are 7/16" Eyelets, (just the washer part), hot glued on.

Purse #2

I added the hanging tag by putting an eyelet at the end, so it doesn't easily get ripped off.

The round circles are cut from shiny, silver cardstock. White stitching-love the white gel pen!!

The center clasp is just a brad spread out and hot glued on.

Baby Rattle Card

Here is a cute Baby Girl Card I made using files from SVGCuts.
I used Little Sweet Peas and Smooth and Swirly Word Art svg collections. The card base shape comes from the
Iris Fold Cards SVG Kit.

Baby Sailboat Card

I needed to make up some Baby Boy cards and here is what I came up with.  I used some collections from SVGCuts.
*Bundle of Joy ("baby" word)
* Little Sweet Peas (sailboat)

I turned the boat shape into a card and had to do some welding and add some extra pieces to get the look I wanted, but the cute boat element was a good starter base!

I used a white gel pen for stitching effect and on the red flag, red and white twine and red buttons.  The sails and red flag were embossed with the swiss dots embossing folder.  All the edges were inked with brown ink.

I also used the red and white twine to tie up the sail!

Simple Anchor Card

I saw a card like this on Pinterest and just thought it was so cute (unfortunately there wasn't a link to the original idea, so I can't give credit to whomever originally came up with the idea!)  I wanted to make one myself, so here it is.  The anchor comes from Fleurette Bloom's Ship's Ahoy Collection.  the rest of the card was made just using simple shapes.

The white parts were embossed with the swiss dots embossing folder and the edged inked in blue.  I used a white gel pen for the stitching effect.  Other embellishments used: black ribbon, large black brads, thick white twine, foam pop dots.

Simple and cute!

By The Sea Card

I am really excited to be on the Design Team for Fleurette Bloom now!  For my first project, here is a cute card I made using elements from Fleurette Bloom's newest collection, Ships Ahoy!

The card is 5"w x 6"h and is on heavy duty clear acetate.  I love how it is see-thru and layered.

I cut out the pilons, but instead of the included "paper" ropes. I used white twine and wrapped it around the pilons.  Then I lightly inked them with brown ink to add some aging.

For the lifesaver,  I also used some blue & white rope and added more white rope to the back.  It is hung from a small antiqued brad (made to look like a nail). I added a second layer, white ring, to the back to cover up any glue that may show.

The sentiment in the clouds was just printed and then cut into a cloud shape and inked.

I put a large wave on the inside of the card with a white strip at the bottom where a note/sentiment can be written.  The waves are all embossed with the D'Vine Swirl embossing folder.  The waves all have a sparkle and shimmer to them, but it doesn't show up in the pictures.  :(

Lots of layering using foam dots gives the card so much depth.

Don't you just love that cute little starfish hanging from the wood!

This collection is so adorable with all the elements!  Go check out Fleurette Bloom's Ships Ahoyalong with the beautiful digital papers that match!
