God Bless America Rosette & Star Card

I love this patriotic, fun card I made using  several files from My Scrap Chick!  I especially LOVE the puffy star on top of the rosette.

I used the 5" rounded base card and a few elements from Card #4.

The sentiment was printed and I added some small star brads to each corner of the card.

The Beatles and Freddy Mercury - Vinyl Projects

Two of my nieces are in love with The Beatles and Queen, specifically Freddy Mercury.  So I made up some quick projects to give them for their birthdays.

I found a vector image online of Freddy Mercury and traced it in my software program.  The Abbey Road and head silhouettes of The Beatles were free svg's I found in a Facebook group.

Super simple to cut out using vinyl and applied to the items!

I just took some quick pics using my cell phone, so photos are pretty bad.  :(

This is a clipboard I applied the vinyl to.  The title was just something I designed using a few different fonts.

Here is a blank journaling book.  The book is actually purple and I bound it with some matching twine.

This is a glass block light.  I wish I would have used a frosted glass so the lights wouldn't show through or at least have used white lights...oh well...It still looks pretty cool!  I used musical Washi tape and added it around the edges and tied a big black bow around it.

Tennis Themed Pinwheel Centerpieces

I was asked to make some centerpieces for tables that were tennis themed and using pinwheels, and this is what I came up with.  All the files to make these came from SVGCuts. The pinwheels are a lot of work to make, but so worth it in the end and are adorable when they spin!

Here is what I used:
*Gift Boxes SVG Kit  (triangle box) I added an additional panel to the sides for more stability and cut just the tip of the triangle off to make a hole for the stick to pass through.
*Deluxe Pinwheel  (this is a FREE file!)
*Fun & Games SVG Kit (tennis balls and rackets)  The racket handles are wrapped with thin ribbon.

The digital paper (13 different designs total) came from Busy Lizzy Designs.  I just printed each digi design on white AC card stock and cut out the files I needed.

These centerpieces stand about 18" tall and the pinwheels are 10" round.

The bases are nice and sturdy and weighted down.  I used the little cement puck weights from those balloon tie downs, drilled a hole in the center and glued the stick in it.

The lollipop sticks have matching ribbon wrapped all down the sticks.

3D Paper Roses in Flower Pail

This was a gift I made for my son's Kindergarten teacher on his last day of school.  The files I used were from SVGCuts called Mom's Garden Gifts SVG Kit.  It was quite a lot of work, but easy files to work with and I loved the way it all turned out...so pretty!

Angry Birds Card

This was a quick card I made for my little guy going to a friend's birthday party.  The file was a free svg file I found on the internet.  The white dots are pony beads that I melted in my oven and they are simply glued on randomly around the front.  The sentiment was cut out on the green card stock and has a black background behind it.

The angry bird is on an action wobble so it moves around.
Cute and simple!
